WINTER ACTIVITIES:Besides exploring Maggie Valley and all this charming town has to offer, there are many exciting places to visit nearby. There are many ski areas within driving distance in addition to our own Cataloochee. Bring your sled and thrill to a run down a mountain road! Or for a tamer variety of the same, visit Tube-World in Maggie right off U.S. 19. If it's amusement rides you're craving, theme parks abound in nearby Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Dollywood. See the Winter Lights in Maggie during December and other holiday festivals in the surrounding areas.
